Bay City Marine is a certified small business located 1 block from Naval Station San Diego. The company was founded in 1968, Incorporated in 1971 and has over 50 years of experience working with the military, aerospace and commercial sector. As one of the oldest MSR and ABR ship repair specialists on the West Coast, Bay City Marine has retained its competitiveness and quality standard while meeting an ever changing industry demand. The corporate office, facility and machine shop are all located in National City, California.

Bay City Marine has dedicated the company direction to quality and professionalism. BCM has provided structural and mechanical repair services for commercial clients, MSC, NOAA, the US Navy, and the US Coast Guard. BCM has worked on ships, barges, cutters, water tanks, cranes, wastewater treatment plants, and chemical and fuel storage facilities for 50+ years.

Bay City Marine has built boats such as ACUs, LCU-Ps, and multiple tugboats for the U.S. Coast Guard, and an orbiter lifting frame, all in addition to conducting repairs on government ships such as the USS Boxer, USS Mercy, USS Arco, USS Freedom, FSV-Ruben Lasker, and many more. We have provided aerospace load testing and original designs for various customers including General Atomics and NASA. To this day, many satellites and crafts entering space have equipment which was either tested or designed in our yards.
